PORTRAIT OF STEFANO | RED
Oil on canvas 50×30 | 2025

Portraying Stefano in the morning means searching his sad, anxious eyes for the pulsating love his body craves, veiled by the embarrassment of someone who cannot touch. His desire for experience is reflected in his tall, slender body and face, in his quick, sketchy movements. Every morning, a part of me sees itself reflected in Stefano's eyes, in his autistic spectrum syndrome, and brings me back to the centre of that primal love that I, too, as an artist and human being, seek. Every morning, I mirror myself with and in Stefano.
PORTRAIT OF HERMINA | RED
Oil on canvas 50×30 | 2025

Hermina sings in the morning and moves slowly as she wakes up with the dormant joy of dawn. Her face is the sound of the sunbeam that enters and awakens bursting through the window of the dark bedroom. Thus begins the day.
PORTRAIT OF DILETTA | RED
Oil on canvas 50×30 | 2025

Diletta moves through time and space with contrasting emotions of laughter and tears: when she laughs, she is light; when she cries, she is the darkest blue. Her pathos is the bright red of song that repeats itself in search of an ever-changing order and absolute balance.
