Marco Balbi Dipalma lives and works in Varese (Italy).

He trained at the DAMS in Bologna, obtaining a specialised degree in theatre disciplines.

This was followed by an 18-year collaboration in Paratheatre of the Master Rena Mirecka, co-founder and first actress of the Teatr Laboratorium in J. Grotowski.  

Since 2022 he has devoted himself to video art, focusing on the Ritual Performance Art and following photography projects and to oil painting.

His research explores the relationship between the self and being through the plasticity of the body.

His works based on autobiographical experiences, are carnal prayers

who explore the verticality of human beings and address the theme of suffering as a source of relational and transformative spiritual knowledge.

Primary love is at the heart of his research.
